Welcome to the Cottage Grove Schools PTO!
We are a group of parents working together for the students and teachers of Taylor Prairie and Cottage Grove Schools.
Parents of children who attend these schools automatically become members. We hope you will get involved in some way this year. Please consider taking a leadership role, joining a committee, attending our events and supporting our fundraisers. Having fun, meeting people and fostering community are all fundamental aspects of our PTO.

GOALS FOR 2008-2009:
· Provide $4,800 per school for Special Requests
· Provide $2,000 per school for Cultural Arts Programs
· Provide $1,500 per school for Wellness Programs
· Provide $500 for the Early Learning Fair
· Provide funds to classrooms and the music, art and physical education departments through SCRIP promotions
· Provide funds for Sports Day, Reading Programs and School Guidance / Milk Buddies
· Coordinate Family Fun Nights
· Provide food for teachers and child care for parents during conferences
· Sponsor a Welcome Back Luncheon for the teachers
· Sponsor a Teacher Appreciation Brunch
· Provide funds from Fall Festival for new projects
